DESCRIPTION:ON- SITE RECRUITMENT – MISTRAS\n\nMISTRAS is looking for Technician Assistants for the following Refineries:\n\nChevron in Richmond\nValero in Benicia\nMRC in Martinez\nPhilips 66 in Rodeo\nDow Chemical in Pittsburg\n\n \nTraining provided. No experience is required. Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:\n\nAssist technicians with setting up and tearing down of equipment.\nPerform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations, and overall upkeep of equipment and\nAssist with proper documentation and reports of services.\nLearn and abide by company policies and\nThose hired to perform work as an Assistant Radiographer or Radiographer Trainee are also responsible for the following:\n\nMay only operate radiographic equipment under the direct visual watch and supervision of a radiographer or radiographic instructor.\nMaintain constant surveillance and immediate control of industrial radiographic equipment at all times while it is use.\nSecure industrial radiographic equipment from unauthorized removal at all times, when not tended under constant surveillance and immediate control.\nPrevent all unauthorized personnel from being within the restricted area boundaries while industrial radiographic equipment is in use.\nProvide the required notification to appropriate safety management personnel in the event of an incident, and to provide assistance as needed.\nCapable of being certified as trustworthy and reliable per NRC.\n\n\n\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:\n\nHigh school diploma or\nTransportation Worker Identification Credential\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving.\nAbility to perform a wide variety of tasks and respond to short notice work assignments which requires occasional out-of-town and overnight travel.\nMust be able to communicate with clients, supervisors, and co-workers.\nAbility to read technical documents and engineering specifications is preferred.\nProven ability to follow precise directions and\nProven ability to adapt to an ever-changing\n\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:\n\nField duties require outdoor work in a plant/refinery.\nWorking in plant and/or refinery environment production machinery with extreme noise\nMust be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal.\nMay be at more than one job site on a daily basis and must be able to tolerate changes in\nAbility to frequently lift and carry 55.\n\nHourly Range-$18-$23/hr\n Registration is required.\nTo register for this event, scan this QR code or Click the REGISTER HERE Button. \n\nFOR INQUIRIES, PLEASE CALL AJCC CONCORD AT 925-671-4500.\n\n
