Adult Programs

Federally-funded programs designed to meet the needs of adults include services for those new to and re-entering the workplace and anyone who, due to a layoff, is seeking employment.

Youth Programs

Through work experience, mentoring, academic support, and career development assistance, we help young people enter the workforce with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to be successful in a 21st-century educational and/or workplace setting.

Small Business Programs

The Contra Costa Small Business Development Center, hosted by the Workforce Development Board, offers professional advising and training services to business owners and emerging entrepreneurs who need assistance in growing or operating their businesses.

Special Programs


The EASTBAY Works Career Centers have specially trained staff to ensure veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces receive maximum employment and training opportunities.

Individuals with Disabilities

Department of Rehabilitation has a three-pronged mission to provide services and advocacy to assist people with disabilities to live independently, become employed, and have equality in the communities in which they live and work.

Formerly Incarcerated Individuals

The primary mission of the Contra Costa County Reentry and Reintegration Collaborative (CCCRRC) is to engage and support individuals, families, and communities in transitioning formerly incarcerated individuals to become active and impactful members of their communities.
