Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County (WDB)
is a 37-member business-led
public body responsible for coordinating workforce development
policy in the county. The Contra Costa County Board of
Supervisors appoints its members. |

The
WDBs mission is to promote a workforce development
system responding to the needs of the business community,
job seekers, workers and youth. The WDB helps develop
a strong, vibrant economy and workforce by providing
the tools that strengthen individuals, businesses and
the community at large.
The Five-Year
Strategic Plan sets forth six important concepts
that underscore the WDBs commitment to meeting
the diverse workforce needs of Contra Costa County.
